Mumbai Zee TVs ‘Dance India Dance’ is back   but this time with a twist. The fourth season of the popular reality show will be called ‘Dance India Dance Doubles’, where pairs will be competing with each other on the dance floor.The upcoming season will be a search for an exceptional ‘dancing jodi`, who will be judged on the basis of their choreography, timing, co-ordination and appeal.
Auditions will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Baroda, Indore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Lucknow and Bangalore, starting end of October, and will continue all through November.
International auditions will also take place in Dubai, US and Britain.
However, there is still speculation whether the popular trio of judges and mentors – Terence Lewis, Remo D`souza and Geeta Kapoor will be back with the season.
After Ek Se Badhkar Ek Chota Packet Bada Dhamaka, Zee along with UTV is all set for television’s biggest dance reality show Dance India Dance.
Giving us info is our source who says, “This show is all about picking raw talents of age group 15 to 25, through a nation wide audition. They will be then trained by professional choreographers who are top names in Bollywood. After the tutoring, participants will be made to compete against each other.”
They will be taught all forms of dance starting from Ballet to Acrobat to Shadow dancing, Mid-air dancing etc. We are as of now finalizing the choreographers. Our aim is to go beyond typical Bollywood dance and present to the audience a variety when it comes to dance forms,” adds our source.
