All 12 guys stretch themselves in the journey of Mahayatra and they will prove themselves the best to fulfill their parent’s dream of completing the Char Dham Yatra. Mahayatra Rishton Ka Anokha Safar will revolve around the four main religious cities – Dwarka, Rameshwaram, Puri and Badrinath. In the journey of Mahayatra, contestants have to prove physical endurance, mental toughness, emotional bond and compatibility. Mahayatra is a reality TV Show of 13 weeks with 12 families for Char Dham. Every week, 2 families will be voted out by their team members. In this process, a family will leave this pious journey. Mahayatra Rishton Ka Anokha Safar on Star Plus introduces first episode on 18th January, 2010. In the first episode of Mahayatra, all 12 contestants are introduced by the Show host – Manish Goel. After a short introduction, the Show starts with a unique task. At first, everyone takes an Aarti of Lord Ganesha where Shreya Ghosal participates to enthusiasm them. All guys and girls take Mahavachan (the biggest promise) for their unique journey and parents in Mahayatra. Mahayatra Rishton Ka Anokha Safar divides all guys and girls in two teams – Team Agni and Team Vayu. In this task, parents also had to prove themselves for their children. In this task of Mahayatra on Star Plus, parent’s legs are tied with a ribbon. They had to reach to their children as soon as possible. Children had a box. The box’s key was in the hand of their parents. There was a Damaru of the Lord Shiva in the box. If a contestant open the box quickly compare than others and put the Damaru on the Trishul, he will be the winner. In this task of Mahayatra, Team Agni was the winner. Now, Team Vayu of Mahayatra on Star Plus goes in danger zone. It is Bhagyachakra. In this round, 2 families from Team Vayu will be voted out by other members.
