Baa Bahoo Aur Baby is about a Gujarati family, the Thakker family, who’s problems range from burning the toast, to unexpected house visitors, to the inability to pay their taxes, which could lead to demolition of their house! The magnitude of their problems and situations vary. Baa Bahoo aur Baby, is a realistic, voyeuristic insight into the lives of people who represent the quintessential upper middle class in Mumbai. A spicy, sweet and savory slice of life, the Thakker family is like a box of assorted chocolates where no two pieces are the same. The differences in the characters create a hilarious atmosphere where tempers get frayed, where space is not the constraint but they don’t have any personal, where they shamelessly interfere in each other’s life, without consideration for those lives, they interfere. This is a family where opposition is a birthright, yet when it comes to the crunch they strike an agreement. A family that lives together, fights together, schemes together, bickers together yet still manages to hold it together. Baa Bahoo Aur Baby is a series that you will relate to, for one reason or another, you won’t know whether you are laughing or crying.
