It premiered on Monday the 19th of December, 2011. Sanchi, is a vulnerable girl who has led a sheltered life. But, the actual university set will be built in film city, Mumbai. Veteran actor Arun Bakshi and Sachal Tyagi who is currently doing Choti Si Zindagi are part of the show while most of the cast is new.Playtime Creations and Writer cum Producer Kamal Pandey are coming up with a new show on Star Plus titled as Ruk Jaana Nahi Tu Kahi Haar Ke. Ruk Jaana Nahi Tu Kahi Haar Ke is a college life story based in North India, Banaras and it will cover issues like ragging, molestation and elections. Apart from these issues the story will also focus on the issues of the students families. It will also show the life in Banaras and the way people live there.
