Now this is one incident which is meant to create panic. Here’s what really happened on the sets of Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Production Pvt Ltd’s show Kairi (Colors).
The actors wrapped up shooting for the mehendi sequence of Ambi (Preeti Chaudhary) last night (16 May 2012) and merrily went their way back home. After that the post production boys got busy to cut the scenes and prepare the episode which was to be sent to the channel. But there came a drama wherein an employee mistakenly pressed the “delete” instead of the “send” button.
The incident came as a big shocker for everyone as the entire footage got erased out of nowhere. They did not have a back-up as they shot it on HD.
However, since the mehendi sequence is to be aired tomorrow (18 May 2012), the team still had some time to re-shoot. Hence, they are busy re-shooting the whole sequence since today morning.
got in touch with producer Sumeet Mittal and he shared, “Yes, the telecast did get erased due to a mistake but we are trying to complete the shoot today.”

Kairee is a new Indian television opera. It is a drama serial and narrates the story of a bride who has had arrange marriage with a man whom she barely knows. It is her dream to be loved by her husband and his family especially mother. Relationships always pass through khatta Meetha Phase in life and most popularly, the Saas Bahu relationship is a well known example for this phrase therefore, the serial has been named Kairee- Rishta Khatta Meetha which features the same in the story. It is a sweet yet spicy story of a family where the bride is fighting for her rights with her mother-in-law. The show is aired on colors TV at 7 pm from Monday to Friday.

Story of Kairi Rishta Khatta Meetha revolves around Imarti Devi and her relationship as a mother-in-law with her daughter-in-laws. It explores a new dimension of dictatorship of mother-in-law.
Story of Kairi follows the dilemma of saas and bahu. Imarti Devi and Ambi are very opposite characters. Their personalities are very different. Ambi will prove herself as the modern bahu to fight against saas in a very new aspect.
