Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka 

Star Plus is coming up with a new cookery show with the winner of Season one, Pankaj Bhadouria titled as Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka. This cookery show will be hit the channel before the second season of MasterChef India Season 2.

Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka will be a one hour show airing from 12th of September at 2:30 every afternoon. It will be a daily show and not a weekly. The show will also invite various celebrities to add spice to the show.

After the successful run of Master Chef India Season 1 with Akshay Kumar, the second season of the show is getting itself ready to hit the screens soon. But before its launch Star Plus is coming up with a new cookery show with the winner of Season one, Pankaj Bhadouria.

A source informs, ” Pankaj Bhadouria, the winner of Master Chef India will be coming up with a cookery show on Star Plus which will be followed by season two of Master Chef. The show will be titled as Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka.”

Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka is a new cooking Show on Star Plus starting from September 12th 2011. Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka on Star Plus is scheduled to air every Monday to Friday at 2:30 PM in India. It is a day time Show. Pankaj Bhadauria brought a new cookery Show – Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka from September 12, 2011.

First Episode of Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka:

First episode of Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka is introduced by Pankaj Bhadauria. She welcomed Hina Khan (Akshara) of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Pankaj cooked two recipes – Gongura Paneer Laajwaab and Dil-E-Bahaar Gaajar Mousse for Akshara in this episode of Chef Pankaj Ka Zayka on Star Plus.

Gongura Paneer Lajawab:

Gongura Sauce Cooking Method:

Boil the Palak and Gongura leaves in the Kadai with ½ the onion, turmeric, green chilies and ½ of the tomato till water is absorbed well.

Cool this and grind to a puree and keep aside.

Heat a Kadai and add cloves and remaining onions and fry well with ginger garlic paste. Add the remaining tomatoes also and the masala powders and cook well.

Pour in the pureed gongura and cook for another 5 minutes or till the gravy is thick and saucy.

Paneer Tikka Roundels Cooking Method:

Cut Paneer into long ½ thick roundels.

Mix all ingredients for marinade and keep aside.

Add the left marinade to the Paneer and refrigerate it for 3 hours.

Heat oil in a pan and fry marinated Paneer till fully done.

Coconut Rice Cooking Method:

Rinse rice in a sieve under cold running water 2 to 3 minutes, then drain well.

Melt butter in a saucepan over moderately high heat.

Add rice and cook, stirring constantly, until it becomes opaque, about 3 minutes.

Dil E Bahaar Gaajar Mousse:

Mix Gelatin in a little orange juice and keep aside to bloom.

Whip cream to soft peak add the sugar and whip some more.

In sauce pan add ¼ of the carrot puree and the gelatin mixture and heat through and add the remaining puree. Keep aside to cool.
