Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo on Zee TV is the story of 17-year-old Laali (Ratan Rajput) who stands up against the vagaries of time and becomes the earning member of the family in a male-dominated society. Laali, the female protagonist, has an optimistic attitude to life and has the conviction to save her family from the throes of hunger and poverty. She stands shoulder to shoulder with her father and supports the family, a daring act in a society that looks down upon women. In the background of poverty, the extreme sacrifices that Laali makes is a moving story. This seventeen year old girl lives with her parents and her younger siblings in a village called Koyna in Bihar. They come from a low cast background and by profession are rat killers or ‘Musahars’ who help the Zamindars to protect their land and homes from infestation. The father scrapes together a small income and the girl does odd jobs around the village to support him. And like any other girl her age, she also dreams of a happy life after her marriage to a man who loves her. So will her dreams ever come true after a life of struggle and disappointments? Will her father be able to fulfill his daughter’s desires after he has seen her give up her childhood to help him meet ends. The story is taking a different turn, with a trip to Nepal being the way out for a hunted Laali and Shekhar. For some time now, Laali is being hunted by Ranvijay who has a running fight with his own brother Shekhar. Things reached a peak where Ranvijay plotted to kill Laali by burying her alive, and it was only when Shekhar reached there in the nick of time that he was able to dig out the earth covering Laali and saved her. Eventually, after a confrontation between Shekhar and Ranvijay where Shekhar also threatens his own father, Thakur Loha Singh with a gun, Shekhar leaves the place along with Laali. He also states quite clearly that his father will have to make a choice between his sons, with one unable to give a heir, and the other not willing to give a heir.Ranvijay follows soon after, and eventually they end up in Laali’s village where she meets her family, but Ranvijay is following soon after. Seeing that Laali has already left, he catches Munna (Laali’s brother) and threatens to hang him if they don’t tell him where Laali has gone. Petrified of the threat to Munna, they tell Ranvijay enough that he leaves Munna. And then they show Laali and Shekhar getting off the jeep and seemingly heading towards Nepal.drama cast character name and real names.
